Hi all. Strange thing happened yesterday while I was gradually accelerating along side street. Pedal went straight to floor and had to shut off ignition while moving. No mat over the gas pedal or anything of that sort. Has anyone else experienced this or had my Sport seen a sexy Rubicon out of sight further ahead? Might have to take her in for a check up at the he stealership (maybe get her spayed or neutered). No seriously its got me wondering if there's a flaw somewhere with mine or in general with the 2013. Maybe secret recall? Thanks for any feedback.

Has this only happened the one time?
Based on the symptoms you've described, I wouldn't hesitate to bring to this to your dealer's attention.
Also, check the pedal itself as oldfart mentioned.

Hi guys, the pedal seems fine. I drove to work and back with no problems.I seem to recall last year driving on hwy in cruise control and hitting a bump which disengaged my cruise but sent my rpm redlining. Again i shut off the motor with the ignition key and restarted on the fly. Now i dont know if its related but i will keep you posted when i get a chance to take it in. Thanx to the both of you for the promp response.
