Rims and tires
I know this has been asked before, I just can't find the thread. But I was thinking of changing my wheels and I want to go bigger. The jeep is stock. Do I have to stay with the stock 18's and just put bigger tires? Or can I go with 20's? If I go with the 20's, what size tire can I use? Any input would be great. Don't want to put a lift cause the wife drives the jeep as well. Oh and it's a 2012 Sahara 4 door. Thanks!!

Re: Rims and tires
Without a lift it's gonna be hard to find a good tire with 20" wheels especially if you plan off-roading. 17" is a common way to go and gives you plenty of choices. What is you driving style and what kind of tire/thread you are looking for? If you keep your 18's and go with bigger rubber, you might need wheel spacers. A lot of factor to consider before switching.... Keep us informed!

Re: Rims and tires
I rock 285/70R17's they look great with a 4.5 backset.
if you go with 20" rims you are looking at really thin tires if you're going with no lift. That will look terrible, and will probably be very $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Re: Rims and tires
You sure can go 33s with 18" rim - look at these A/T, less expensive than M/T, nice look and roughly 33" diameter...
