I'm looking to add some lights (individual or bar) to shed some light when backing up on a trail. The reverse lights just don't cut it.

I'm thinking of something that would tap in to the trailer 4-pin harness so when I go in reverse, they light up.

Am I looking at making my own connector or are there kits available for this?

I think you wuld be better off running a switch. This way they don't come on in the city.

Check out the rigids. The best one For backing up has the diffused lens.

 

I have 4" truck lites leds in bumper that come on when in reverse and 55 watt Pilot lights on third stop light that have their own switch. The pilot lights swing with tailgate which is handy when camping. Doug
