Default Problems swapping rims/tires for the winter?

I plan on running the stock rims/tires that came on my 2013 JKU over the winter but next spring I will be upgrading to 33" tires on 17" rims plus a 2.5" lift. What will I have to do to the Jeep to do this in the spring and will I be able to go back to stock next fall?

Just the lift and wheel spacers or different wheels with less backspace.

I have a 2012, 2.5 lift and 285/70r17's(33x11.5) and MT 2 classic rims. I put the stock tires back on every winter. Had the same set up on my 2009 and changed them ever year also. Have 4.5 backspacing on the classic rims to clear the 33's but the stocker rims and tires go back on no problem.

I plan on installing a levelling kit in the spring, as well as 33" duratracs on some 2013 rubicon rims I just picked up off Kijiji. As far as winter goes, I bought bf goodrich winter slaloms Im going to use on older 17" Moab rims. I think with the levelling kit, the 32 inch winters will still look good, and swapping back and forth won't be an issue. I had a set of the bfg snows on our 2010 JKU, and they road better than the oem Goodyear wranglers.

I run 285/75 - 16 DuraTracs all summer on Ultra Drifter rims and go back to the stock 18" Sahara rims and the Bridgestone AT's for the winter. Other than looking god awful goofy for the first month after running the big DuraTracs, there's no repercussion. Just remember you'll need new TPMS sensors installed in what ever rim you decide to go with for the summer.

Yeah, just watch the tpms you get. If your jeep has the individual tire pressures shown on your evic, you need different sensors than the systems that use the warning light only. (New feature of the 2013 models with connectivity group I believe)

I haven't put any TPSM on my new rims.

Any reason why you are all swapping them out for winter back to stock?

If anything you would do the opposite, meaning stockers in the summer for better fuel economy, while 33's for the winter, better for snow, slush and other mess.

33's are better for playing in the mud...and they just look better too!
