Meaning what? To high or to low priced for what you are supposedly receiving? I don't like the style to square for me but then they are selling very well so to each his own. If I was given one or won one I'd take it but never buy one. Way to much computor stuff on it I like a vehicle I can open the hood and voila a motor that can be worked on.

It's called supply and demand. They figure out what is the highest price people will pay without affecting sales. look at the crazy prices they sell wk's for.

Every model vehicle has a certain amount of following. Some people buy because their parents bought that model. Others, price and availability. Warranty [10 years on Toyota]
and local dealers in their area.

Then there are offroaders and wind in your hair top downers. Jeep Wrangler is the only offroad vehicle that can have a soft top and still hit the hills!
Many Jeep buyers have 'always wanted a Jeep' and see now as the time to do it.

The price is like everything else. 'What can I get for it'! They calculate their costs to build, do market research, see how the reaction is at the auto shows and do some test sales.
They are definitely overpriced, but they still can't build them fast enough!
Loaded $40+ and $60+ for the top o' the line Grands which are also the top sellers!
And lousy gas mileage!

Go figure!
