Our new 2013 unlimited came with the dual top option. Unfortunately, it was only the standard soft top, and I had wanted the premium. I checked kijiji, and found an unused premium top for sale. Really nice fabric, so I bought it. For your information, both tops have the identical frame, door surrounds,and, new for 2013, they are both spring assisted. I'll be posting the standard top for sale. Send me a pm if anyone is interested.

 

What is the differance between the two?

 

looks like the big differences are price and fabric. i guess the easy way to tell which one is which is by the color of the inside of the top... premium soft top is black underneath with a diamond like pattern to it, and the standard soft top is grey on the inside, and has a different pattern or grain to it...

 

Here is both tops in their original packaging. I could have bought the fabric only from Bestop, and used my existing frame but I found it was a whole lot cheaper just to buy a new complete premium top off kijiji.

 

It's all about the fabric. The premium top has the same fabric used on other convertibles instead of vinyl. It feels heavier, and gives a quieter ride. It's also a dark black,so it'll look great with the gecko.
