Ok tomorrow I'm doing my first mod, I got a Smittybilt XRC front and rear bumpers going on, now my question is what to do with my stock bumpers, sell them online, keep them, Im not sure what to do, I don't have a lot of space for keeping spare parts around, and I can't seem to think of a scenario where I would need to put the stock bumpers back on. Any advice or insight to give?

 

If you can find space for them I'd keep them. If you decide to sell the Jeep it might help, but who knows. I know what you mean though. I still have a front grille from a 2003 Liberty (that I got in 2003) in a box that I haven't managed to get rid of but have not had the Liberty for 7 years... and a bunch of 2005 mustang parts (still have the stang though)

 

I doubt there will be many folks lined up to buy them anyways, they will probably sit under the back deck for a long time. :)

 

I would keep them.
You can:
1. Use them as spare parts.
2. Mess around with them for fun i.e. make them into stubby's.
3. Swap them back on if you trade in your Jeep (but why?).

 

They aren't worth much.
I chopped my original stock bumper but needed a clean one to put on when I was going to trade in for a 2012. I was given a stock front bumper with the trim for free.. In the end I kept the 08..
