Default Mud flaps/Splash guards

Thought that front flaps would be a good idea too and get them on before the snow flies.
There ya go again - so why would anybody with that kind of cash even bother with a Jeep?
Think, think. Bought those common, black, flat plastic flaps available at most stores anywhere and fit them (after trimming) behind the wheel well liners so that they hung just below the running boards and closed off that opening that allows junk to fly back into the rocker panel and running boards. Used five pop rivets of 3/16 X 1/4 inch and the washers on the back side and connected to the factory liner. A little fiddly to get them aligned & drilled, but for less than a 20 dollar bill, it turned out pretty good imo. Can't even tell they're there and saved maybe $50.
