Default Mountain Edition

What does anyone know about the Mountain Edition?
Is it a mid-range model with an odd colour scheme?
I'm not so sure about the colour (mango) and the grill painted to match the wheels, but it has the options I like (ABS, AC, cruise). It certainly is different looking.

My local Stealership has a 2010 with 3,000Kms for $22,000. I'm sure they'd like to get rid of it before the 2012 start coming in.

It's one step up from the base model. It's a Wrangler S with the added decals and 17 inch rims with MT.

Is the one you are looking at a 2 door or a 4 door?

Hmm I thought the Islander was a step up from the Sport and the Mountain is actually a Rubicon..
Check the options list to see if it has a D44 front axle with locking Differentials (I believe it does).

Both the Islander and Mountain modles are base wanglers with few graphic changes, Rubi wheels and maybe shocks, fuel cover tail light covers but thats about it. same with the COD and Mojave, couple of small upgrades of parts they have on hand and a defferent looking package and out they go.

No. The Mountin is not the Rubi, however the Islander had the Rubi suspension.

Have you seen the COD MW edition for the 2012 (I don't know if this is just a rumour)?

I have only seen it on the web. I like it as well, but not a fan of the white is all.

What's the main difference between the 2010 Mountain and the Islander?
