Canada Lift Installation Cost?

Hey guys, how many hours should it take, and approximately what should the typical installation cost be on a 2.5/3 inch lift kit with shocks on a JK Unlimited???
Right now while doing all my research I'm getting quotes from various places in the states and Canada. Also, where would you guys buy your wheels/tires and lift from, the states or Canada? and why??? THANKS! :D

The average spring lift or complete BB install time is 4-5 hours. If you get a lift with adj control arms add a couple more hours and a frontend alignment.
A 4x4 shop in your area may have a piece work price rather then an hourly rate.

I was quoted 400$ from Just jeeps for a AEV budget boost.

I saw this really cool lift kit, it's damn expensive! But it's right up on the style of lift I want.

I have almost made a decision . . . through research, forums, and calling and asking places, I have decided that the best choice for what I want to do with my Jeep seems to be the Rock Krawler 2.5 Max Travel Pro lift. I have found it around for around $1500 plus installation and I would have to buy Bilstein 5100 (or similar) shocks . . . However I was quoted, with installation, labour, and tax included (and it comes with shocks), $1500 for a BDS 3" lift in Ohio (not a far drive . . . . fyi I live near Kitchener/Waterloo, in Ontario (hour from Toronto)). The shocks would be about $350 for the 4, plus the labour for the RK . . . so does anybody have experience or opions on the BDS 3" lift. So many options :S lol and even more opinions lol

I'm having difficulty seeing any good reason to buy in Canada with the quotes I'm getting literally being over $1000 less if I take the 5 hour drive into northern Ohio . . . I'm sure there are places near Buffalo and in Michigan aswell . . . anybody else go to the states to get it done?

Please give a call to Ski from CT Motorsports, he did mine and it was around 400 $ for lift( zone), Bilstein 1500 shocks i got for 100 $ a piece.

everything for my jeep i have gone to the states for minus the install of the lift did that locally here in kitchener. i've saved well over $2000 making the 2 hour trip to buffalo to get parts

Hey, thanks, and I will try them out for a quote, but for everything I want I'm not confident they will be anywhere near the prices I've been quoted in the states. Bilstein shocks for $80 each for starters. Toyo 35" open country mt's with nice rims for $3,400 mounted, balanced and with the spline thingys (can you tell I'm a new Jeep owner? lol) (that's taxes incl.). And the lifts I'm looking at are priced well, with low cost for installation from what I've been quoted anywhere around here . . . But hey, obviously I'd rather stay local to get it done so if they come anywhere close to the quotes I've gotten from the states I'll take it :)
