Default JK Ordered, Need Tire Advice

My 2012 Sahara Unlimited (Black forest green) has been ordered and I am looking for any and all advice on tires as I am a first time owner.

This is going to be my DD with light offroading on the weekends and I want to get an agressive looking tire buy am not sure what size.

What is the max tire size that can be run without a lift?

Any tire suggestions for an agressive looking tire that is good on and offroad?

I have an 09 Sahara and am running the goodyear duratracs 275/70R18 on the stock rims. I added 1.5" wheel spacers and a budget 2.5" suspension lift to make sure they clear and travel is unimpeded but some people do run that size without. I like them very much, no road noise either with these tires.

From what I've read 33" ( or metric equivalent) is the max without any lift or mod. I'm going that route I think! For tires and wheels I'm going to buy from Discount Tire Direct in the USA. They ship free to Canada and give good deals.
I'm thinking about the MB Chaos 5 wheels with Goodyear Duratracs for mine...

Wheels!

Tires!

Still haven't decided on size yet for wheels but some guys are running 15" with 33" but I may go to 16/17" with 285/70R16 for the equivalent sizing.

Try Costco in the US, pretty good pricing and you will get the benefits from Costco in the great white north. Rotations, cash back etc.

just throwing it out there.....i did decide on my set up. I went with some Dicky's this time to check them out.Had BFG and they where great. Went to a size 33" and knowing i really didn't need to do a lift but chose to do a 4" skyjacker just for future. Going to go with 35's or more in time. I did upgrade my ball joints and with my lift bought a control bar to level off so as to give better support to the suspension and not have it drift when steering. I decided for a little better look to go with 16" steel wheels black. Trying to keep a look of just black and brick red.Going to look into upgrading my air intake and a stainless steel exhaust for down the road. I think skyjacker is a good product with info i have receiced.

If you don't want to lift or run wheel spacers, go with the 265/75R-17 Goodyear Territory from CTC.. If you want a tougher tire you can go with the ProComp Xtreme M/T in that size...
