Hi, new to the forum. I'm wondering if anyone has any information on what the best deals is on a 2012 Rubicon Unlimited (Dealer Invoice, Rebates).
How much should I be paying?

Thanks! I saw Milous post. Was just wondering when you say you got yours at invoice, what does that mean? Sorry for being the newbie but let's say the invoice cost for my rubicon with the options I want is $37,717 (including the $1,400 destination). Is a good price to pay $37,717 or given that there are $2K in rebates do you mean that you would have paid $35,717 for this truck?

Is $37,717 a price you got by adding up the numbers or something a dealer gave you?
The $2,000 is taken off of the price, before taxes.
So it would be $35,717 + taxes + fees?

You should talk to a dealer though, some may try to get you with some heavy admin fees. I started on autotrader and contacted a handful of dealers. Some will be straight forward and give you a good price, some will want to play the games.

The $37,717 is a price I got by adding all the numbers. I have spoken with the manager of the dealer and told him that his cost on the trck is $35,717. H agreed with me and wants to sell it to me for $37,317 so he makes $1,600 I guess? Will a dealer really sell to me at their cost ($35,717)? How would they make money?

This is my first Jeep... and I don't even have it yet! Definitely excited.
I think a lot of dealerships work on incentives. I really don't know the details of how it all works though..
But they can and will go to that price.
For example, I ordered a JKUR just last week. MSRP comes up at $39965.00 I am paying $33590.00 (including freight, admin, etc)

If you can find a good dealership to deal with who is upfront and "close" to invoice, I wouldn't fight with them over a few hundred bucks. A few thousand is probably another story!

Dealer threw in floor mats, mud flaps and 1st oil change as well as 20% off any accessories I might add down the road. Not sure if that's a deal but I was happy enough.

Paid $42250.00 on the road (Ontario) for my 2012 Arctic JKU (pretty well loaded) last December. % on base jeeps should be about the same. I'm sure with the 2k off now you can do better.
