Good question.....What about that annoying chime also? Seems that the computer has control of all the electrical systems and this makes customizing anything toward personal preference practically a "no go". I did build a fake seat belt buckle to plug in when I don't want the seat belt on though, just to shut up that chime. I'd also like to turn off the horn when I lock up also. They really should put a switchboard somewhere so a guy could cancel all the default settings if he so chooses. But I guess that they have to justify the high price they ask for the machine in the first place. Nothing else is revolutionary in the technology as far as I can tell, in fact some things haven't gotten any better in years except the higher price.

Tks Chasmoe will have to live with it hahaha .... by the way you can undo the horn sound when you lock by visiting your manual and go to Remote Keyless Entry ... I hated that aspect and removed the horn sound it just leaves the lights blinking

Thanks for that Snofrog! Of course, it's in the manual but that thing seems like such a daunting task to read and re-read. I've read it in there. I've also read the Bible twice, but I'm still no wiser. Haha! isn't life just a bucket of surprises?

you can have your headlights turned off when unlocking the doors, but you'll need to go to the dealer and have them flash it. Just get them to do it next time you go in for warranty work or oil change. My dealer did not charge me for this flash.
