Head light alternatives, who's doing what?
Can anyone recommend a bulb replacement for the front headlights. The other day I seen another jeep and it was obvious he had a different - brighter - set up.
I guess while we are on this subject has anyone done the LED interior light swap?

LED are expensive but last forever. The issue for them is with the DRLs.. HIDs are OK if you buy the complete light, housing and all (expensive as well). The HID conversions for factory light housings are illegal and dangerous to on coming traffic as they can never be aimed properly..
I have the PIAA extreme white+ bulbs and they are much better then stock, but I also have driving lamps for the backroads..

The biggest problem with the JK's is actually not the bulbs but the housings. They fail to provide a good beam pattern. My personal favorite is the Hella E-Codes with Delta Conversion Harnesses and Hella Xenon Blue Bulbs. Below are pics of the components required and the difference in the beam patterns by just the lenses with no bulb upgrade. On the left is the Hella E-Code and the Right is the factory one.

when i had my 2010, had changed the bulbs to GE Nighthawks, made a world of difference for $60. Gonna do the same to my 2012 come fall. You could go with the Hella conversion if you have extra money to blow but i would prefer investing in real mods and leaving that kind of stuff for when i run out of ideas
