Re: GTA JK Meet anyone?
Hey guys, i got my JK insured and on the road this past Sunday, otherwise i would have turned out for your run. I think as we get into some nicer weather hopefully JK comraderie will prevail, but the long weekend is sacred and everyone is doing their own thing. Maybe we can try again for the last weekend in May?

Re: GTA JK Meet anyone?
I was thinking I might setup a meet myself.. just kinda get the ball rolling here.. But it's rough for me to schedule something like that, I have a very loose work schedule it's always changing.
Should post up some pics of your jeep.

Re: GTA JK Meet anyone?
My buddy and I are in the process of getting our Jeeps lifted, etc. We are definitely interested in doing some GTA meets this summer!
In case anyone is interested, we are taking our Jeeps down to Michigan to a place called "The Mounds" on June 8th (Saturday). It is near Flint Michigan, approximately 3 hours drive from Mississauga (where I live). We will actually be heading down on Friday, but won't be hitting the park until Saturday (late morning likely). The cost is $15 for full use of the park for the day. It has beginner to advanced stuff. Lots of trails, rocks, and mud at varying levels of difficulty. Now, we are noobs, with freshly lifted Jeeps, so we will likely stick to mostly beginner stuff (this will be our first time going there ps.). Mine is a 2012 with a 3.5" and 35's and my buddy's is a 2.5" with 33's. We have a Go Pro, so will be video taping ALOT and taking tons of pics.
The Mounds Off Road ORV Park, Flint MI Genesee County
PM me if you wanna meet up down there! Should be a wicked-awesome day!
If anyone has been there and wants to let us know how it is, or has any pointers please reply to this and let me know! :)
Thanks!

Re: GTA JK Meet anyone?
OK guys can I make a suggestion for you...
Start a facebook group.. Like ours THUNDER BAY JEEPS "Dirty and Topless" https://www.facebook.com/groups/115573165146904/
Administrator has to approve people to join to stop spammers is all.
Open group anyone can see only those that are allowed to join can post.
You group will grow and as it does you will be easier to connect with.
Set up a time and place for a coffee meet once per week.
From that the trail rides and cruises will grow..
A simple weekly get together will do wonders for the group..
Our group currently has 134 members 100 of which are local and about 40 of those are active. We also have about 20 members who do not use FB so they are a little harder to connect with.
