What was the first thing you bought for your new/used JK? Did you go with tires or a lift? Something simple like a light package or stereo? Looking to start adding some ups to my new 4-door Ultd 'Mountain' JK and wondering where I should start!!

First thing I got was my Daystar Dash Panel and then seatcovers and an oil pan skid. Tires were next and they are my best purchase to date. 275/65/R18 Goodyear duratracs. I should be good for the rest of the year...hopefully. Have fun and check out JK-Forum.com. They have an amazing amount of info. I can spend hours on there. See you on the trails!

Those straps are worth the money you pay for them for sure! Until you get a winch, they have a lot of use on the trail.

thats the truth!

whats great is when you start upgrading your first mods and just think to yourself, i remember when i thought this was going to be overkill... what happened

but yeah for me my first mod with any vehicle is stereo, no boom boom, but i like it to sound great for when were at a trail head we can enjoy some good tunes.

right now there isn't a mod im not doing to my ZJ... basically im going to have this rig set up to be miles away from anything and still be able to plug in a 1500 watt microwave lol... and a hot shower HAHA (not really, but theres a thought :-p)

i've already got it set up for doors off, converted the air conditioning to an air compressor, and plans for bigger stuff, beefy axles, and lots of long arm lift.

First mod on my 09 was Rough Coutry 2.5 springs and shocks, 1.5 wheel spacers. Next was JKS front and rear adjustable track bars, daystar dash panel. Next was 15inch Blackrock rims and Trxus MT 35x12.5x15.
Than Rugged Ridge front light bar with Hellas, then windsheild lights with Hellas.
