2summer is right and it's free-removing that spring will allow the stock hold downs to do their job, without the reciprocating effect of the spring

I also removed that wimpy black rubber lip and installed a rubber trunk gasket all the way across, now no movement at 80 mph and with trucks passing and by the way, I still have my lower air dam in place and it lowers the air flow, into the engine compartment, besides many other benefits !

are these difficult to install?
When I bought my 08 sahara last week, driving home(sault ste. marie) from guelph, i noticed it move quite a bit as well. I thought it was normal.

Yes, those are it but U can't buy them directly form Daystar, Just click where to buy and find a place close to U.
Not that hard to install just a bit tricky. Go on page 2 #15, those are the photos I took and the tools U need and read the instructions there is rigthway to install them.

I've read about several guys in California and Texas (heat), that the Daystars have started stretching after less than a year and the hood starts moving again !

Take the spring out !!

Ok tracklock...I got my daystars and I am trying to figure out how in the hell I get a ratchet in there to take the nut off...in your pics your ratchet is facing up, but the nut is on the inside of the fender....HOW?!?! lol
