I tried to do a little jig a loo... My girl told me to stop... The neighbors were starting to laugh... But then I found a little white lithium and gave the pins a coat... All good in the hood now!

 

Thanks, haven't tried with a helper yet. It just had a rust spray so I'll try again.

 

I found this in another forum, and it worked. Take a 2 x 4, put it under the open door so it sits on the door sil, and lift the 2 x 4 up like a lever. HOWEVER! Make sure you do have a helper to hold the door! I ignored the warning about a helper, and boy did that sucker come flying off, and my leg / ankle / foot were bruised for weeks.
