Default door trouble

anybody have trouble taking the doors off, the screws are out. Mine don't seem to budge, hoping not to break anything.

Try drowning it in "release-all" or wd40 for a few days, probably to much build up of rust.

Also with a friend helping you. While applying upward force on the bottom of the door move it open and close to work the hinge pin upwards. When you have them off clean up the pins with some emery cloth to remove and rust build up and apply a coat of grease to the pins when re installing. It's also wise to grease them before the winter season.

Thanks, haven't tried with a helper yet. It just had a rust spray so I'll try again.

Stuff called "never seize" (not sure on that spelling) used to put on nuts u want to take off again works really good. Watch using wd 40 or other spray lubricants around anyplace u have a paint chip, like your hinges, it will work under the paint and bubble it.

I spray my hinges with white grease each and every time I put them back on my rig. Never had a problem.

I use the same spray they use on your vechicle when they undercoat them them. If you don't take your doors off for a while they are hard to get off. Good idea once you get them off to put some white grease on the pins.

Yes Norm, you will have to do it every year if you want them to remain easy to remove. I just use white lithium grease on my pins.
