Default Buying Rims from the States?

I was wondering if anyone has went to the States to puchase their rims, and if you save money doing so? Also wondering if anyone knows of a place in the GTA that has good prices on rims.

I am looking for Pro Comp Series 7069 Flat Black Alloy Wheel 17x9 5x5 bolt pattern

Thank you!

We buy all our wheels and tires from the US.. Usually 1/2 the price. ProComp Xtreme Alloy 7069 usually run around 129$ US. each.
RiverCity Offroad or Tire Package .com have great prices.

Awesome thank you very much! Do you bring your Jeep to the states and have the rims installed there or just pay duty fees or get shipping?

I have tires mounted and balanced then shipped to a depot on the US side. Once they are delivered there I go across and pick them. I bring them across and pay tax. There is no duty on tires and wheels.
Depending on where you buy many times either mount and balance or shipping is free. Sometimes both. The most I have paid for install and balance for a set of 5 is $49.95 and shipping the most I've paid is $160.00 for the set.
DO NOT HAVE THEM SHIPPED INTO CANADA the charges and brokerage fees will kill you unless you deal with Northridge4x4 who seems to have a way around this.

If you know of a Discount Tire on the US side it may be just as easy to pre order before you go so they have them for you then go across and have them put on. Always claim and pay taxes when you come back. It's not worth getting caught and have a black mark against you at the border.

The first set of 5 16x8 Procomp wheels and 35" Procomp tires I purchased from the US cost me just over 1,500 US installed, balanced and delivered to the border store. I paid tax at the border (195$ on $1,500) and by the time it was all said and done it was around $1700cdn total. The local fountain tire wanted 375$ a tire x5, 250$ a wheel x5, + 50$ a wheel mount and balance. Now that's a rip off. So the exact same tires and rims mounted and balance with tax a Fountain $3,813.75 and that is why I buy them from the US.
FYI - many time ProComp will have buy 4 get on free specials on tires and wheels. So keep an eye out.
