Canada brakes

Changed my front passenger side brake caliper on my 07 rubicon about 3 weeks ago and since then it feels like my brake paddle is softer and go down further then before we bleeded it at the new caliper wondering if we did it right

If you changed the caliper because it was seized, then you might have a little more pedal travel due to the fact that things are working properly now. on the other hand it might still have air in the system.

If it gets harder when you pump the pedal then you probably still have air in the line. may have to bleed both fronts.
if you use a brake pump and bleed from the caliper up to the reservoir, you will get all the air out.

I know it sounds like a no brainer, but make sure you have installed the proper side caliper. Right and left sides can be interchanged, but the bleeder screw will be pointing down instead of up. It doesn't matter how much bleeding you do, if the bleeder is at the bottom, you'll never get the air out.
