Thats a good top for someone who has a hard top and wants to swap back and forth. Kind of garbage winter top though.

Its garbage for winter because it's not insulated, doesn't keep the vehicle warm and its not durable enough for extended use over multiple seasons. I re-iterate it's great for summer, but not for winter.

When I had my 2 door, I just had the factory soft top with no hard top. Ran it through -40 degrees (including wind chill) and it was warm. I can't imagine this one is worse.

5-"REAL BRONCOs" (1974-1977)
4-"CJ5s"
1-TJ 1999
1-JKUR 2013
Ran soft tops on all of them, all year. I take offence in regards to your comment of "GARBAGE TOP" as should you have prefaced your comment with "In my opinion"How many Real 4WD' s have you had?
All due respect.

WOW ok this is kinda getting personal, just saying the soft tops are usually lighter weight and don't perform as well in the cold. The Trek Top NX Is multi-layered from what I saw so it's not as bad as I thought. But I know that alot of soft tops (apparently not any made by Best Top) are single layer and not efficient.

I know the twill tops have an insulation layer in them, the reason why I didn't buy a trek top or even a standard soft top from best top is because I was informed they do not perform as well in the snow and ice and colder climates.

In technicality " Soft top " is designed for warm or cool weather and to protect you from the elements. It can be used in the winter and it will perform fine, but in reality Hard top is for the harsh -40 C weather.

As per personal, I dont know what are you trying to say. But with all honesty you called someones proud ownership of the soft top a " garbage" . Not really cool eh !

This was my original quote.. Where is the statement about the entire top being garbage? Garbage if you need to know slang term for not that great, Example: "Summer tires are garbage in the winter" Not saying summer tires are in general not very good, just not very good in the winter. "kind of garbage winter top though" thought that was pretty self explanatory i think i am getting flak for no reason, my original intent was just to notify any potential buyers this isn't an optimal top for full time use that is all!
