For any JK'ers out there
I know it's already mentioned into the Trails section, just didn't want this area only having one thread... 
Just thought I'd let you know what is planned for the this coming summer.
Quick name for the event: JK Jam 09
True name: The Great Central Canada 2nd Annual JK Jam 2009
The date is June 19 20 21 22
Friday is a roll in day
Saturday early morning JK 101 with trail all day long.
Sunday social events day and some pack up and return to society
Monday perhaps its not time to part yet who wants to go to work on a Monday after a great weekend so the good times roll on and then stragglers leave.
Cost for the event ZERO DOLLARS for participant and no entry fee for vendors, however donations will be accepted for the event to recoup costs and to pay for a social evening, also percentage of the participant donation will go to research to find a cure for breast cancer, this will be between 10 and 20 % depending on total donations collected. this leaves you money for a hotel if ya need it, for human fuel and Jeep fuel. what else do ya need?
We are in the works to get our sponsors online with the event. (if you are a vendor and wish to be a sponsor..and are crossing your legs in anticipation, please send an email to jkjam09@gmail.com)
Participant draw is a 6hrs or 600km 370miles circumference from the event co-ordination site Trenton / Quinte West, Ontario Canada. This would cover all of south central, eastern and western Ontario and into the USA, Lansing Michigan, Toledo Ohio, Cleveland Ohio, Pittsburgh Pa, Lancaster pa. East ward to Quebec City Quebec, and to the North toward Sault Saint Marie.
This event is for any person who owns a 2007 or newer Jeep JK wrangler 2 or 4 door modified or stock Jeep can attend. Attendance is restricted to Jeep JK owners with that vehicle being at the event, provisions are available for guests of JK owners that come in a non JK vehicle. Your guest= your responsibility.

Just thought I'd drop a line and let you know the event is really starting to pick up head way.
So far we have 22JK's registered not including the guest non-JK's attending making attendance as of now close to 70 people. A number of sponsors have come on board to support this; Overland Expeditions, Rock Spyder, Steam Whistle, JPFREEK Adventure Magazine to name but a few...
