I had an annoying rattle coming from under my 2011 Sahara Unlimited... took it to the dealer and they eventually found a heat shield to be the culprit. So nice and quiet again... for a Jeep! To my surprise an annoying clunking that seemed to be coming from inside also has gone away... Sweet.
While in for service they updated the computer flash... so far it seems to run a little smoother and seems to be a little better at accelerating through low rpm when I'm to lazy to shift! Maybe even less spark knock (or ping) at low rpm lugging.
Got way more out of this service appointment than I thought I would... and the best is that the only charge was for the oil change!! Thank you Kingston Dodge!!

 

Just a tid-bit of info....you would not believe just a little pebble of stone will sound like stuck between a heat shield !

 

Good luck finding that I guess?? Pretty sure my Jeep was on the hoist for almost 2 hrs!! Luckily no labour charge!!
