So I took my 2012 jk for the 12 Month maintenance, I currently have 13000km on it. My wife had noticed squeaking coming from the rear after she went over a few bumps on the bad roads. I never really though anything of it until I was told that it needed new rear control arms... WTF is this normal for it only having 13000km, it's covered under warranty but I'm very disappointed for this being our first jeep ever owned:( ps we have never been on any trails or dirt roads!

 

No that is not normal.. I have 130,000klm and still have the originals..

 

yeah not normal at all, im at 17,000km and have not had any problems. Minus the clutch i just blew this weekend from my own stupidity

I'm real sorry to see that you need new rear arms.
If you want, send me a PM with your name and VIN and I can look in to this for you as this is disappointing to see and is not normal.
