Re: wtb wj lift
No it is not my firt jeep, I've been in offroading for a long time, but I mostly lifted jeep CJ YJ TJ but this is my first Grand Cherokee. and don't get me wrong I know what I need Just don't have the $$$$$$$$$ for it. If I had the $$$$ It would be basicly a (6"+2" 8"clayton lift, dana 44 front & rear, 242hd t-case, 4.56 gear and 37 tire) but as I said no $$$$$ for now and the jeep is my only car, so I will keep it simple. but why ask if it was my first jeep.

Re: wtb wj lift
Was just wondering, usually by the time a WJ is at 4"+ the only thing that the person is selling is the springs since they probably have already converted to adj. long arms, so other than springs there wouldn't be much to sell that would actually be useful to you if you were going to go that high. :)

Re: wtb wj lift
You can do a 4.5" short arm...but any more, and I'd be looking at long arms.
Anyway, I would look at:
Iron Rock Off Road
Or if you're willing to spend the $$$$, then Claytons Offroad
or if you want to keep it cheaper, and stick with a short arm kit, BDS Suspension
I haven't seen much in the way of used kits out there, so if that's what you're looking for, I wish you luck! I'd love to sell you my kit, but I don't have the $$$$ for a long arm setup at the moment...
Later.

Re: wtb wj lift
I could sell you a new 2"BB for $225. I havent recieved it yet. it is in the mail. then I would buy another kit for $150. LOL
But seriously, if you bought a used kit before then you were lucky. the only way you get those is usually buying a wrecked vehicle and you hope all the suspension parts are good. then sell the carcass.
I wish you luck. hell if I could do that I would.
