I just installed a 8000lbs warn winch on my zj, its brand new everyhting to my knowlege is hooked up correctley but it will not retract you can here control box clicking but nothing? if i reverse the cables then it will, any help or sugestions would be greatly appericated thanks.

 

Were the cables pre-mounted on the solenoid? Easy enough to put them on backwards.

 

Yup and to hook silnoid up to motor were clearly labeled all but one small ground wire.

 

Try tapping the solenoid with the power on sometimes it will stick if it hasn't been used to a while.

 

Thanks for the suggestions but nothing seems to be working I emailed warn being a new machine it should work just waiting on reply thanks again.
