Default Suspension

Hey I've got a 87 2 door xj and I wanted to put heavier duty leafs and springs in it. So I was just wondering if putting something like ford f150 or chevy 1500 suspension would be a good idea? Thanks!

Unless your into some major modification you would probably be better off with an add a leaf kit.
You would have to start moving mounting positions around for the different springs but if that's what your looking to do then there's always a way to do it.

They will also make for a rough ride and little to no flex, because they are made for more weight then you'll probably be placing on them.

If anything use 1 or 2 leafs from a 4x4 s10 pack, they have a little more arc to them then jeep ones and they dont ride to bad.
