Hi again I have a ouestion about the oil pressure guageI I had the oil changed in the efforts made to pass e test. all is well.But the oil pressure guage sometimes hits the hi end as if its stuck there then it will drop back to its centre of the guage position, it seems when it jumps to the hi end it is like a ohm metre arm hitting the pin at hi.. any ideas ...Pops

 

Could be a loose/ dirty wire at the pan, a loose connection on the guage, the sending unit is not reading properly or the gauge/ sending unit is just feeling it's age.
