I think i will have to wait till the 9th of sep. Cash flow and all.
It has an oil leak coming from the head, (slow) . and the idle issue. so im planning on
getting everything done at once. The rear brakes need replacement too.
Im hoping i can find an honest mechanic to do the work. If anyone has a suggestion,
i would love to hear it. I really like my jeep and i plan to keep it on the road even if
rent is 2 months behind.

Have you done the basics like fuel filter and such. I understand the cash flow thing, been on disability for over a year, but the one thing I do have is time LOL. I would try looking for the obvious first like loose, worn or wearing wires, cleaning or replacing anything to do with fuel delivery. Then when you have exhausted all of the obvious things the mechanic will have a place to start that IS NOT at the beginning. It will be tedious. You did find an improvement when you cleaned the IAC so start there, you could also try running some concentrated injector cleaner through it, try to get access to the FACTORY shop manual as this will help you diagnose/track down the problems. Hope you find it quickly, try not to get frustrated(hard I know) as this will muddy the waters and you might overlook something. Good luck
