I purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland in November to replace my barely running Ford Taurus, and have been in love with it ever since. Recently I've been thinking of playing around with the extreme amount of chrome thats all over the exterior. I was thinking of getting most of it including the rims covered in a matte black vinyl. I was thinking of doing this because I've been noticing a lot of scratches arising on the chrome thats currently on the car, so by covering it, the chrome can be saved from some years of abuse. I've wanted to do this on my mustang for its looks, but the cherokee takes things to the next level with the amount of chrome on it! The only problem is, I'm not sure if I should go with matte black, or matte white..... keep in mind the vinyl is for all of the trim and the rims! I'll post some pictures of my jeep below, hopefully I can hear some of your opinions

 

Black and white will give it a more aggressive look and that's the way I would choose, my personal opinion. All white could be nice too. The white would make it keep its luxurious look. One way or the other, it's a nice looking ride you have :)

 

Maybe some chrome spray to get rid of the scratches? I have the blackberry colour and it looks nice with the chrome trim.
