mileage
well today was my 1st real good run with my installed K & N cold air intake kit. Been in for a couple weeks now and have only been driving local longest drive has been Burlington to Brampton. So really could not get a good feel for gas mileage. Intown I love the sound of the airintake sucking air and the sound of the MagnaFlow exhaust paired up so gas mileage was a average of 18 to 20 L per 100KM
today I did a drive from Burlington to Sarnia and back and average was 12.1 L per 100km was really impressed with that!
4.7L in my GC ltd she has 312,000k's on her and still runs great.
So for those of you who are thinking of putting on a cold air intake for gas mileage pair it up with a good exhaust and all should work out.
what are some oyhers getting for gas mileage?? with a GC with the 4.7L

Re: mileage
One thing I've noticed over the last couple years is that alttitude really affects mileage to. At home (5000ft) I'll average 10.9-11.3, working in Fort McMurray (1600ft) I'm around 14.5-16, and for the last year I've been working on the coast in BC (50-700ft) I'm doing good if I'm getting 20-22. So apparently my Jeep likes the thinner air.
