Jeep Grand Cherokee head lamp
Before you purchase a new Jeep grand Cherokee Cherokee with bi xenon HID headlamps with auto 1eveling and high been headlamp control, consider the following. To replace a headlamp bulb you have to remove the bumper-cost to replace the bulb $391. If you are unfortunate enough to have to replace the headlamp assembly, as we were, the part is $1876 plus install and taxes. Over $2000. The bumper also needs to be removed. Jeep Canada gave no consideration for this ridiculous cost to repair a non-functioning highbeam headlamp on our 2016 Jeep. Poor design, engineering or quality. You be the judge. Richard Shore

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee head lamp
Yup - just went through that with my 2107 -- halogen bulbs but at $40.00 for 2 and $100 (and that was a deal from a mechanic friend) to tear the front end off the vehicle it's a ridiculous head light change. Abysmal design from the engineers and the biggest gripe I have with my GC to date.

There all getting to be the same .. bottom line is they want you to go to the dealer where the big bucks come into play.
I'll stick to my TJ where I can still repair it myself
