I get roughly the same in my 02 4.7 Limited, 14L/100 K in town 9L/100k

Have 2008 GC Diesel and it is great on fuel. Get 10L/100km on regular basis mostly highway at 120. Generally 700+ km /tank taking it to fuel light or close. Track every tank and it is better now at 96,000 km on it. US trip on interstate got 23.2 mpg US (28mpg C)on 6000 km trip at higher speeds. City is generally 11.5-12.5L/100km. No complaints here for sure.

I get about 330km per tank. Driving with the 5.7 Hemi WK06
On the cpu, it says around 18,5L/100km. Really poor mileage....

which my liberty 2.8 turbos diesel i can get 800km at 115km with my greendiesel eco tuned changed calibration it give me 7.6liter for 100km so on hi ways i can do 800km with 62liter diesel i did it was very surprise

before I did the huges' barrel intake fix,(98GC 5.9Limited), I was getting less then 500kms on a tank(75-80l) on highway, under 300kms in city. Now after intake fix , fresh Mobil 1& filter, fresh paper air filter and E3's, 650kms on highway(cruise set @120,a/c on, 3 adults loaded for 1 week trip) and 450kms in city all short hauls of under 20kms. BTW GCL has 183,000kms, Still have to change to fresh synthetic in both diffs. I love my 5.9l Limited!!!!

I asked the same question when I first got my TJ. After hearing what other people were getting (400km) I thought my jeep was a lemon only getting 315km. then i found out that i only had a 15gal US tank and not the 20 gal.

I am not sure if tank size is standard on a ZJ but it might be worth taking a minute to find out.

According to the shop manual the ZJ tank is a standard 87l or 23gal. This makes sense as I have had to, on occasion, put in 85l . Was on a trip and went too far between gas stations. When I found the next one near the highway, the old girl took 85l. It was the first trip I ever took in the Jeep, and I had a 20l/5gal gas can with me. I wanted to check the distance on a tank.

Going to look into what I can do to improve the mileage in the city. I have the quadra-drive system so I know it is full time 4wd and that is a big negative in the city. I do not really want to change out the xfer case to give me the option of 2 or 4wd, so I will try to optimize the tune on the engine. I would like to see better than 600 maybe between 700-800kms on a tank. That would be 500mls on 20gals. That would be 25mpg from a v8. That should be doable?! LOL but 30mpg would be GREAT!!!!!! even if it was only on the highway.
