I have a 2001 WJ and the heater motor packed it in the other day but not before it would only blow on high. I assume the resistor packed it in as well.

My question is... Where is the resistor?

Changing the heater motor isn't any issue but finding the resistor is.

well its going to be in between the blower motor and the firewall... i think is pretty small, just a little black box?

 

It's underneath on the passenger side. Easy to replace. Go here for a write up.
