Unhappy heater blowing cold when heat is on

Dash vents are blowing cold air when heat is on but glove box vents blowing hot. Initial fix was to replace battery terminal which worked last night . This morning center vents still blowing cold and heat from the glove box vents. HELP. We are freezing and my mechanic is lost on this one!!!!

I have a 03 tj 6 cy the problem I had may be a help to finding ur problem. I had heat coming from the defrost (its the default on that Jeep) the vents and floor from very little no matter where I placed the control it came out in the defrost. Chk'g the compression line it was found that it was cracked, a little shrink tube and it was repaired and back to having heat from all the area's. My suggestion is check from the cannister (under the hood or in the wheel well) from there to where it goes though the firewall (under hood) Let us know what is the final repair.

super common issue!

45 minutes fix.

for mine as my A/C does not work ( hole in condensor ) I made the cut behind the glove box and just used duct tape to hold in the UP position. My blower works fine so this is perfect. I always have heat in the winter.
