Hello all,

I have a 2001 GC Laredo with the all wheel drive (Quadratrac?), and when I turn tight in either direction I get a very distinct clicking which worsens the tighter I turn the vehicle. I am sure the CV joints are done and need replacing.

My question is which kit do I get from NAPA... They have 2 remans and 2 new kits... They have an option of with or without the Vari-lok?...

How do I know if I have this "Vari-lok"?

Any help is appreciated.

If you have a Quadra-Trac I or II it shouldn't have vari-locks, the system that used them was called Quadra- Drive.

 

Have a close look at the cv boots because front end clicking could also be your ds and not your half shafts.....just another option.
