I just bought a 93 jeep grand cherkee ltd edition 6 cylinder for a parts jeep. My jeep is a 94 grand cherokee with a V8 engine. Does anyone know if any of the major parts will fit my jeep. Someone told me the transmission will fit mine, while others say no. It's really hard to know what to keep. I think the alternator will fit, it looks like the same one. I don't want to get rid of parts i can use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Transmission will not work, sorry. 4.0 and 5.2/8 V8's use different bellhousing patterns. Transfer case is usually switchable, diff's are swapable. Enigine wiring, ECM, rad are not. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks fo the info. My boyfriend is not the shapest tool in the shed and I am trying to figure out what I need to keep and what to sell. I have the transfer case for sale along with the engine so I guess I better change the ad.
