Chrysler doesn't want you to see this Jeep
first all-new vehicle launch since Fiat SpA

WINDSOR, Ont. — It was supposed to be a "hush-hush" event, closed to the media, but The Windsor Star's Jason Kryk managed to get a photo of the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee despite the intervention of an unidentified woman.
The pre-production vehicle, being assembled in Warren, Mich., and due to hit showrooms in late summer or early fall, was parked Wednesday outside the Ciociaro Club, which was hosting a two-day training session and test drive for employees and sales staff at Chrysler dealerships in Windsor and Essex County.
All participants were required to sign confidentiality agreements, according to a Chrysler employee, who asked to remain anonymous.
Apparently, the Auburn Hills, Mich., automaker will have more to say about vehicle on May 28.
The Jeep Cherokee will be the first all-new vehicle launch since Fiat SpA took over Chrysler last year.
The redesigned Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger will be launched in the last quarter of the year.
