Question can i disconnect the audible sensor?

here goes my first post, hoping for a solution to this problem...i've got a 2000 grand cherokee laredo, my air bag light comes on and off, i believe its because of the clock spring, i don't care about the light, but i would like the warning noise to go away real fast. does anyone know if i can just disconnect the thing that makes the noise? i assume it would also make the noise stop when the doors are open or my seat belt isn't on, which is fine by me. i just want this noise to go away. and ya i realize i could just get the clock spring done but i'm looking for an easier option. thanks a lot

If you can find the place where the noise is coming from there must be some king of small speaker thing. When you find it, accidently break it.
