Anyone done the valve seals on their 4.7?
Mines blowing a bit of blue and uses about 2 litres or so of oil between oil changes. Just wondering if it seems to be a common problem with this engine and if anyones changed the valve seals and how difficult it was? I've never had an OHC engine apart before but I've done complete rebuilds on pushrod engines. I'm not very impressed since my heep only has 124k on it. :(

Sounds like it may have been abused by a past owner. My 02 had over 250,000 km on it and never burnt any oil.
Are you sure it's the valve seals and maybe not a bit of oil getting pushed past the rings?
