AC blows warm when idling too long at stop lights or whatever
AC blows cold except when idling for any length of time. It then blows warm or hot air. New AC compressor, new dryer, both the relay and fuse are good. Why does it keep kicking the compressor off when idling for too long?

Check a few things here: Is the FEON at its proper level? Is there any debris caught in the a/c rad (as while sitting in traffic the air flow has stopped)

The freon was che led previous to compressor replacement and after, freon was correctly filled. To confirm, I have asked to have it re checked again this week coming. The rads appear clear with no obstructions.

It has done that occasionally, the thermostat had been changed the year before last for that reason, figuring that will need to be changed again?
