5.2 serpentine squeel
so i looked and read alot of questions about the same prob but none were on my 5.2. needless to say its squeeling, squeeking, chirping whatever you wanna call it, i cant get rid of it. tried different belts, replaced pullys, new tensioner all that jazz. a new belt wont last but a week before it starts making noises.
so my question is.... is there somewhere else tension can be safely increased or is there something else im missing? i have to say i have completely narrowed this down to the belt. once their broke in its over.
thanx in advance!

I've used belt dressing but I fine thats all it's good for. Silcone spray will work just as well AND it's great for all your door/roof, rear hatch/tailgate rubber seals ! Also works awesome for squirting the black plastic pieces in the fender wells....ah crap , I spray it on everything except the steering wheel !
You have assumed (as I would have) the problem is in the idler or tensioner pulleys. The belt is obviously being "burned" by something. Perhaps one of the other components the belt is running is producing the drag the belt is being draged over and burning. Bad or going bearing in water pump?Air conditioning compressor? Power stearing pump?
I would also throw out that one of your pulley's may be out of alignment. Check the steering box, the bolts are famous for coming loose and the whole assembly will torque to one side as you steer.
