I am just starting on my first project ever, 83 CJ5. The original motor(258) is in pieces but seems in good enough shape to rebuild. I also have a line on a rebuilt one form an 84 CJ7 with about 30K on it. Two questions, will it fit, should I use it or rebuild the one I have? Interested in your thoughts

I know, but I think I have to be a member for a period of time before I can. Not only is this my first project, but my first forum as well :)

 

I have a cj5 as well put a 304 in it if ya can (power freek) i had 4 of them at one time one had a 350 in it hehe
