Default drivetrain

have a 94 jeep wrangler....went and played today, having a major problem now....my tranny has no gears its standard i can feel the shifter finding them but when i release the clutch nothings moving....its like my transfer case is in neutral....i tried bout everything,just lokking to see if thers somethin else to look for tks....

No gears?

Like its in neutral? What were you doing when this happened.

Yeah, did this happen overtime? It must of happend just suddenly? Did you hear any noises/smells??

Its really hard to say exactly what it is. I suspect more of the transmission than anything. Where you pushing it when it happened? I couldn't see it just happen without doing anything. You said gears , so i couldn't see it being the clutch , what gears work?

clutch in or out its got nothin wont grind ther was no noise when it happened it wasn;t being pushed hard either....yokes,drivelines,u-joints everythings ther.....i can move the transfer case lever anywher and still hear or feel nothing......ther was a quick smell of clutch than the rig just stopped,with no noise.....i know its weird...i'll be yanking everything down soon waitin for time off 1st

yup found the prob....was the clutch it completly fell apart and jammed the fly wheel....never had a clutch do that but will be easy to fix rather than a tranny or t-case so be out ther playing again soon....tks for all ur replies and help....

Default CJ7 hard door different between 76 and 86

Someone pointed out that I may have the wrong hard doors on my 83, sure enough I have the earlier model. The reason I ask about the difference, is the windshield frame does not line up at the same angle as the vent window frame. In other words there is a gap of at least 3/4" at the top.
