Go underneath the jeep where the shifter comes thur the floor the arms are hitting the side. Have someone move the shifter (very lightly) so u can see what exactly is wrong. On my 03 tj I had that problem too. Theres a piece in the kit (should be) that fixing this. There called the torque shaft bracket. This torque shaft bracket is part of the transfer case shifter assembly. This prevents the shifter bind after the case is lowered. From under the jeep locate the torque shaft bracket. It is attached to the inside of the transmission tunnel and acts as a pivot for the transfer case shift lever. Remove the 2 bolt that attach the swivel plate to bracket. also remove the swivel plate gasket. Attach the swivel plate & gasket to the torque shaft bracket using the factory bolts and nuts. Insert the torque shaft thru the swivel plate then attach the bracket. I am tring to find u a diagram of this which would make it a little easier to see exactly what i am talking about. my scanner doesn't work.

Do a yahoo/google search "superlift torque shaft drop bracket" then go to one of them and to page 13 of there instructions, u will see a pic there that will give u a little more details on exactly where and what I mentioned above.
