So long story short, I picked up an 1996 xj 4L automatic for parts... It hasn't been on the road in the last 4 years.... So my plan was to strip it for parts and then send it to the crusher.... But iv decided to build it for my younger sister who likes my jacked up Yj..... My Yj :P



Build plan....
-get the engine running
-patch the floor boards
-2.5 or 4.5 lift
-light bar
-33inch tires
-home made bumpers and winch
-new seat covers
-fender flairs



If I find a place to paint it, I'd probably go flat black instead of the white it's right now...

Wow !! Aren't you a swell Brother... Don't give her a chance to get into something else... its JEEP and only JEEP.... and an xj she will be running around in comfort... how's the exhaust system on it..don't know if it will fit or not but from my 89 I had bot a new pipe from the manifold to the back then the thing cot fired and I removed what I could-this was one part I removed. Yours is automatic now the exhaust system pipe might have different turns in it compared to the standard. Anyways if u need it let me know, I might have a few other parts too.
