Default Newbie here

Hey folks. Daughter just bought a `00 Cherokee Sport. Slight driveline vibration and we know its coming from a u-joint. It's 11yrs old with 100K miles on it so I'll change them all.
Any tips or info you can give would be appreciated.
BTW, just driving this thing reminds us why we came so close to buying one new. If we ever need a second vehicle I'll search the lower States,to find a rust free one, fly down and drive it back.

Welcome

I would highly suggest doing all the fluids as well so you can start her on a maintenance schedule you guys know.

Will do, just picked up a manual and it shows two different fr & rr driveshafts. Have to take a look before buying the parts.

Hey man, I drive a 98 400,000+ Km Sport. I have changed about 4 u joints on front
axles. No u joints have failed or seized on the drive shafts. Because I pull a heavy trailer I had an extra leaf added in rear . The increased lift causes some vibration with
noise with no load as I take foot off accelerator.

It's not unusual for the double cardan joint on the front shaft to make some noise, the centering ball tends to wear.
