k so i got my check engine code read this mornin and it says P0171.

now i found out that code means this : P0171 (M) 1/1 Fuel System Lean A lean air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally rich correction factor.

so does that mean i need to replace an o2 sensor or what?

any help is appreciated

Can't go wrong by replacing o2 sensor, they always seem to go once you get beyond 200,000km or so. It's not very exspensive of a part and worth doing anyhow.
