muffler damage
so this thing is obviously finishd. is there anything I need to know about replacement that might same me a headache? i'm going to change it myself sometime soon, possibly with the help of a generous friend with a lift, although not a very mechanical friend. I have the giant manual, and I just changed my rad and cleaned out my throttle body yesterday, although this is my first time wrenchin.

Re: muffler damage
The Chrysler muffler is expensive. So as I did when I had my 89 xj I went to Cdn Tire and bought there "Cherry Bomb" (flashie red) its cost me at the time $35. a couple of muffler clamps (also bought there) if need be a small pc of pipe between the catalytic converter & muffler all in all $50. max. On the 4 litre there is a slight pleasant sound, not loud. And this muffler fits up there really nicely and allot lighter too. The muffler lasted me 3.5 year

Re: muffler damage
Thats not good, but you might try and find a tube that will fit it and have it put in and then I wud suggest u keep the tire as a spare or run it in the rear. Patching it most places won't do it, but if u do find someone I wud say keep it for a spare only. If someone does patch it they might have u sign a waver clearing them of any damage that might occur from the use of that tire.
